Troubleshooting: The automatic transmission remains in 1st gear while driving, unable to shift to 2nd or higher gears; the automatic transmission can shift to 2nd gear while driving, but cannot shift to 3rd or overdrive.
When driving, the upshift speed is significantly higher than the standard value, and the engine speed is high before upshifting. It is necessary to use the accelerator pedal to pre-shift (i.e., release the accelerator pedal for a few seconds and then press it again) to allow the automatic transmission to shift into a higher or overdrive gear.
The vehicle speed and gear position meet the conditions for the lock-up clutch to engage, but the lock-up clutch still does not engage, and fuel consumption is high.
