Automatic transmission slippage malfunction

1、When starting the car, pressing the accelerator pedal causes the engine speed to increase quickly, but the vehicle speed increases slowly.

2、When accelerating while driving, pressing the accelerator pedal increases the engine speed, but the vehicle speed does not increase quickly;

3、 the car drives normally on flat roads, but lacks power uphill, and the engine speed is abnormally high

  • Troubleshooting:
    ① Automatic transmission fluid level too low;
    ② Automatic transmission fluid level too high, causing excessive air bubbles due to violent agitation by the planetary gear mechanism during operation;
    ③ Excessive wear or burning of clutch or brake friction plates or brake bands;
    ④ Excessive wear of the oil pump or leakage in the main oil circuit, resulting in low oil pressure;
    ⑤ Slippage of the one-way overrunning clutch;
    ⑥ Damaged piston seals in the clutch or brake, leading to oil leakage.
