When driving, the upshift speed is significantly higher than the standard value, and the engine speed is high before upshifting. It is necessary to use the accelerator pedal to pre-shift (i.e., release the accelerator pedal for a few seconds and then press it again) to allow the automatic transmission to shift into a higher or overdrive gear.
- Troubleshooting:
① Improper adjustment of the throttle cable or throttle position sensor;
② Damaged throttle position sensor;
③ Excessively high main oil pressure or throttle valve regulating oil pressure;
④ Short circuit in the forced downshift switch;
⑤ Faulty computer or sensor.
